Page Types
Nimble 2.0 provides many types of dynamic pages that can help you acomplish more than is possible with just static content.
Blank
Blank pages allow you to freely add and layout widgets in Page Builder. This is the core type of page in Nimble. Blank pages are great for static content or content with limited functionality.
Blog
A full page blog where you can post news and updates to keep your visitors informed. When you have a blog page you can add a feed that pulls updates from this blog, then place the feed anywhere on your website; the most common practice is to place a blog feed on the home page. It will show a list of the most recent updates and link to those blog entries.
Calendar
A full-page calendar that shows upcoming and previous events. Events can be clicked on to display more information about the event. Events can be recurring on specific days of the week, or specific days of the month, repeating every day, week, month or year. You can also edit and delete individual events that have been created as recurring future events.
You can include an option for users to register for events and even charge a cover/ticket fee for which users can pay. Nimble utilizes Stripe for secure payment processing. You will need to setup a Stripe account before being able to take secure payments on your site.
Classifieds
A full page “Classifieds” area where you can post listings for sale. You cannot sell items directly through the Classifieds, but rather use this exactly as you would the classifieds in the newspaper: for displaying “for sale” information about items in your inventory. This is most commonly used for large equipment such as farming equipment or machinery and parts.
Directory
A full-page directory that shows listings and information by alphabetical order. Listings can be individiuals or locations. They can include a photo, basic information, educational and professional backgrounds, staff location and more.
Document Center
Document center pages are for providing your users with a searchable tree of files available for download. Document center downloads are secure and can be put on a protected page to prevent unauthorized access to your downloads. The files will display in alphabetical order, so if there is a specific order to which your files should be displayed we recommend adding numbers before the file names (if exceeding 9 files begin with zeros, ex: 001, 002, 003 etc).
Media Archive
A full page archive of uploaded media (videos). If you have a catalog of videos that would be useful to either your staff or site visitors, the Media Archive would be your hub for all of these videos. Media can also be uploaded independent of the arhive and places on individual pages.
